The Connecticut Clean
Energy Fund (CCEF) announced the approval of a grant of $1,334,235 to help
defray a significant portion of the total project cost of installing a 300-kilowatt
DC PV system at the Crystal Rock bottling facility in Watertown, Conn. The
array of 1,764 roof-top solar panels is expected to supply about 28% of the
facility’s total electrical need. In addition, when the facility does
not need electricity Crystal Rock can supply and “sell” that electricity
to the grid at the retail rate. August 2007.
MTC Renewable Energy Trust releases the Clean
Energy Census report that shows that clean energy is

Commission announced that twenty-one electric generating

in New York have been selected to provide renewable energy

The New Jersey Board of
Public Utilities (NJBPU) was joined by the New Jersey Department of Environmental
Protection (DEP) and dozens of community and business leaders on April 6th to
announce the statewide roll out of the Clean
Power Choice program, a voluntary initiative that allows customers to invest
in clean energy.

Clean energy markets grew to $40 billion in 2005 and are poised to expand fourfold
to $167 billion by 2015, according to a new report from CleanEdge,
Inc., a clean technology research and publishing firm. "Clean

systems, and the fuel cell and distributed hydrogen markets.

On Jan. 12, 2006, the CA Public Utilities Commission approved
the California
Solar Initiative, a comprehensive proposal that
provides $2.8 billion in incentives toward solar development over 11 years. It
also develops complementary policies and rules, sets new incentive levels, and
addresses program administration.

Potential for Transatlantic Investment in Clean Technology - An Opportunity
Assessment of the Clean Energy Sector. Prepared by Clean Energy

a number of important barriers that hinder investment in clean energy
markets; 2) reveals considerable enthusiasm in the transatlantic
investment community for promoting new financial structures and policy

Comparative
Information on State and Utility Rebate Programs: Berkeley
Lab recently developed a simple database of state and utility
cash incentives for solar PV. The principal purpose of this
effort was to put incentive levels on a comparable basis
among programs (taking into consideration the fact that programs
base their incentive payments on different definitions of
installed wattage, and that some programs provide payment
based on production). February 2005.
Projecting
the Impact of State Portfolios Standards on Solar Intallations: Prepared
for the California Energy Commission, this power-point presentation presents
information on the size of the solar PV market that might be created by the
seven existing solar set-asides within state RPS requirements (states with
such set-asides include AZ, NV, CO, PA, NJ, NY, and D.C.). As shown in the
presentation, these policies are forecast to generate approximately 1,000 MW
of solar PV demand by 2025. Februrary 2005.

New York State Energy Research and

(NYSERDA)
will provide more than $17 million to support the development
of five wind farms throughout upstate New York. The wind
farms will add 315 megawatts of electric capacity to the power
grid without contributing any emissions. The total value of

NYSERDA
- New York State Energy Research and Development Authority
- is providing $10 Million in funding assistance to promote
Distributed Generation technologies and Combined Heat and
Power (CHP, or cogeneration) applications in industrial, commercial,
insitutional, and residential sectors.
Eligible projects include feasibility studies, product development,
and installation demonstrations, at funding levels up to $100,000,
$500,000, and $1,000,000, respectively, per project. Proposals
requesting funding must be submitted by March 12, 2002. The

The New Jersey Public Service Board is
seeking proposals to develop renewable energy technology projects.
Proposals are due February 5, 2002. A press release, the solicitation

PORTLAND, Ore. - Jan. 7, 2002 - Pacific Power
and Portland General Electric (PGE) residential and small

MA Dept. of Energy Resources (MA DOER)
has issued the final draft of its Proposed
Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards (pdf), along

California
Power Authority is seeking public comments on
a draft Request for Bids (RFB) for "Stationary Fuel Cells".
The Authority hopes to entertain orders of as much as 20 MW
of fuel cell capacity by the fall of 2002, 50 MW the year
after, and 300 the next year. The deadline for comments is
Friday, October 5, 2001.

On August 28, the Connecticut
Clean Energy Fund (CEF) issued a Request for Proposal
(RFP) seeking bidders to conduct commercial and demonstration
projects under the CEF Fuel Cell Initiative. First
year funding levels for the three categories of projects included
in the RFP expect to reach $5 million, with an additional
$1 million in funding from the Conservation and Load Management
Fund. Three categories of projects are being solicited in
the RFP. The deadline to submit proposals is October 26 at
5 p.m.

announces two new Request for Proposals (RFP) for renewables
projects: RFP for Purchase and Sale of Renewable Electricity
to Large Electricity Customers. The Collaborative invites
proposals by large electricity customers and/or registered
retail electricity suppliers for the purchase or sales of
green power to large electricity customers in Rhode Island.

Supply. To encourage development of renewable energy projects
