Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) was established in 2002 as a nonprofit coalition of the leading state clean energy funds and programs in the country, working together to develop and promote clean energy technologies. Through their clean energy programs, CESA core member states are investing billions of dollars to stimulate the technology innovation process, moving wind, solar, and biomass technologies out of the laboratory and into the mainstream. States are pioneering new investment models, embracing market development strategies, and demonstrating bold leadership in supporting clean energy. To assist in growing these state efforts to create practical clean energy solutions, CESA was as an organization designed to represent the collective voice and interests of the states.
