Mission Statement
Clean Energy States Alliance, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is a network of states working together to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and a strong clean energy economy. CESA’s mission is to support state leadership, policies, and programs to accelerate the nation’s adoption of clean energy technologies.
We work with state leaders, federal agencies, industry players, and other stakeholders to accelerate project deployment, technological innovation, market transformation, investment strategies, and communications efforts that help states achieve their clean energy objectives. Our diverse portfolio of projects and collaborative initiatives are designed to advance innovative policies, programs, and regulatory approaches and to provide consulting support to states at the forefront of America's clean energy economy.
CESA believes that states are the foundation for building a strong clean energy economy. By advancing state cooperation and learning, the Alliance provides the premier forum to reach this goal.
