CESA members will work with European counterparts to share practical
knowledge and market intelligence about U.S. and international
clean energy practices and implementation mechanisms. This work
will result in a new network and channel for informational exchange
and collaboration to fill the vacuum at the national and international
level on clean energy implementation.

For Project Working Group:
Policies
in U.S. States and German Länder - Opportunities for
Transatlantic Cooperation and Beyond ,
December 2003.
Governments, businesses, and NGOs on the state levels are
increasingly interested in exchange and collaboration abroad.
A dialogue is developing particularly between state players
in the United States and in Germany. They are seeking to learn
from each others experience and to cooperate across the Atlantic,
even around the globe. The upcoming International Conference
for Renewable Energy in Bonn will be a forum for all stakeholders
to interact, and will provide a variety of opportunities to
build alliances for further action. States and Länder
will be able to present their initiatives and educate on their
experience, to exchange and learn, to reach out to governments
and international organizations, and to come together to increase
business activities.
